Praying

I truly love to pray. I love to put my hands on people and pray out loud, to comfort them. To call forth healing. To embolden them.

And I am definitely a prayer warrior. My friends, when I call them almost always for people they don't know, I know that they stop what they're doing, and they take that minute to pray out loud to our Lord.

How beautiful is that?

I was blessed to be in a powerful group just the other day where a woman asked her friends in this group to pray for healing on her back as she was going into surgery the next day. It was my first day here in this group and I was stunned, overwhelmed and joyful as a woman walked up between all of us that were just praying out loud and she said: WORD! And these women that all knew each other except for me, parted ever so slightly and she put her hands on this woman and she said something I've never heard, a prayer so powerful that I will use it always in my own prayers:

Jesus Christ you are the Alpha and the Omega, You are before time. You are beyond time. Your children are asking You to intervene. We are asking You to step in and intercept this fall. We are asking You to get between this woman and the ground as she fell off her horse as though it had never happened to her. We are asking You to intercede.

I was moved.

I can't wait to see what happened! I know no prayer in His Name returns Void.
