How to Really Read the Entire Bible?

You know, when you are truly on-fire and even not understanding everything - or even "most" things in the Bible without help doesn't even slow your roll. You seek out tools and sermons and teachers.

Waiting for the Holy Spirit to in-fill my understanding, I take in sermons from so many great teachers. I weed them out as I change and grow my understanding, but all have served me so much.

Very early on a sound byte from watching Joyce Myers served me very well:
Go to the Throne before the Phone! In other words, begin to lean in, to trust God's hearing and answers to your distress, concerns, passing events instead of a phone call to a friend that often distills into gossip energy instead of clarity and release. It begins to reign us into a habit.

But nothing has been more motivating than touching, reading and hearing the Word of God every single day. A great tool that I would love to share is the Bible Recap: Terrie-Lee Cobble and team have done such a beautiful and inviting and often humorous job of helping us go through the Bible, daily. Looking forward to it. With tools from local D-Group Bible studies in your area, to deep dive notes, to general support docs - these sound bytes are 6-15 minutes at a time, reviewing Bible books in order.

It doesn't all "stick" - but that is not the intention. It is just to stay steeped every day. And I have been truly surprised how bits and pieces of everything- whether gathered from The Ten Commandments and Charlton Heston, to The Chosen and Dallas Jenkins, or even from snips and sayings on coffee mugs or over doorways - I have been genuinely surprised how familiar this Great Story is to me.

Daily stimulation, inviting deeper dives at any time - is such a good guardrail for focus on Him.

Take a listen to day 8, the day after my birthday in January! Really, get the book - it is wonderful to read along and then go deep into your own Bible.
