Do you believe in the Power of the Name of Jesus?

I have been stimulated by revival of the Church. Capital C Church. I have been undeniably drawn to the power of the Gifts of the Holy Spirit and find myself in the remnant of the church of ACTS.

The American Church is so asleep. I am new to this, and already I have fallen out of the conversation, the bible classes, the sermons' impact. I am obsessed. And I am an outcast. I am on fire. And I am "too much". I share the Gospel and Testify everyday because although I don't know the Bible and cannot quote Chapter and Verse to support my actions there is a passion and an authentic innocence to my love for God.

I am so grateful I have withdrawals when I am away from the Word, when I have found myself distracted by the world. I am so grateful that nothing matters to me more than my relationship with Jesus. Not. One. Thing. I was warned that this will "wear off" because "I am new".... Why wish this for me? I spend more time with my Lord than I do with Netflix.

Isaiah has a very specific, passionate style. He challenges. He wakes us up. He makes us uncomfortable. He reminds us. What are you going to say when God says "I remember you. You used to chase after me." I will always remember the delivering God. I will always remember the Cross. I will always work inside my self to be more like Jesus and less like me.

I have had a deliverance and was stunned what came out of me. I have studied this book, "Iniquity", and learned more and more about demons and ancestral passing down of shame, guilt, fear, doubt. God gave us none of these. These "things" are spirits.

Jesus did this act more than any other one thing while He walked on the planet. It is worth investigation and review of any fear or hesitation you, or your friends, or your church may have around this Gift to us.  WANTING to go BEYOND Just NORMAL CHRISTIANITY.

John 14:12a: “Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever believes in me will also do the works that I do.”  First, his promise is not made to the apostles alone, but to all who believe. And second, see that this is a promise that we will do Jesus’s works.

John 14:12b “Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever believes in me will also do the works that I do; and greater works than these will he do because I am going to the Father.”

John 14:13-14  "Whatever you ask in my name, this I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask me anything in my name, I will do it."

SO - it is every believer, not just the apostles, not just elders, pastors, preachers or evangelists. “Whoever believes in me . . . greater works than these will he do.”

So this is evidence of being a Christian, not being an apostle. Let's discuss!
