Good morning world

My days are so jam packed with.... wide open spaces.

Silences.

With thinking.

With praying.

With waiting.

With abiding. Yes, that's it.

I am truly developing the talent, skill, patience.... the breadth of being to abide.

And yet it's not simple. Simply sitting is not simple.

After years of meditation - a practice I began to use to wrestle my wandering spirit to the ground and hold it there, make it be still, to empty... After years of that practice, I now am so stunned at the ability to sit, be still and it looks so similar....  and yet now I fill rather than empty.

Holy Spirit You start my day. I am at Your service I am listening.

I am ready for the emptying of me and the world and the infilling of You and the work of the Kingdom.
