I wasn't at Global Vision Bible Church this Sunday...
But I wish I had been. I wept on my couch as I watched here at home. I had attended another new, wonderful, on fire Kentucky church and was all intending to write about our trip and our time and our experiences there. When I settled in after all day traveling, churching, lunching and returning... I immediately turned on Global Vision to see my Pastor and the sermon I missed in person earlier in the day (Sunday).
From his FaceBook: Pastor Greg Locke is at Global Vision Bible Church.

This was a beautiful moment in our service this past Sunday. A couple of protesters rushed the platform and tried taking over the service. Our security team subdued them quickly and neutralized the problem. It was chaotic for a moment. It’s certainly something we’re accustomed to at our church but it’s always a momentary shock. The amount of hate, threats and vitriol we receive because of my very public and demonstrative stand is truly unbelievable. It’s constant day and night. Once they were carried out of the tent, I continued with the offering. My beautiful wife walked up behind me, laid her hands on me and began to pray. It immediately silenced the enemy, dissolved the tension and allowed me to regain my focus. It was powerful. We will not be silent. I may die for preaching truth one day but I assure you they won’t bury a coward.
(If you don't know this Church or this Pastor, tune in and buckle up. Decide if you are alive in Christ or not. The challenge and the invitation is always there. The May 22, 2022 Sermon started around 49 mins: https://globalvisionbc.com/)
I am a Bold Woman; have naturally become a Bold Christian and just as naturally been less welcomed and even dropped at the very church I re-found my Jesus, while Walking with Her last year, thinking I was helping Bev when I burst open my own heart. That is often the way of it, right?
But Pastor Locke and his family, the consistent power of the words coming through this gentle man, this gentleman, are so clearly Holy Spirit-driven and In-spired. I have come to love this man, love his preaching, love this church. I trust his Shepherding.
Even after a very full, rich day at another service - Global Vision has something more for me.
God Bless this Pastor and his family; we thank You for walking with them, for protecting them, for letting them know - and speak - that it is only You that knows when we are called home and until then:
BE BOLD.
SIT WITH WARRIORS.
THE CONVERSATION IS DIFFERENT.
