Heavenly Father,

Raging winds can pummel my branches relentlessly; I will remain.

Lighting can strike and I will keep being a tree; I will remain.

Drought may temporarily disrupt normal growth, that’s alright; I will remain.

Children can overload my limbs, that’s why I’m here; I will remain.

My fruit output may be lacking, that’s fine, I am a tree; I will remain.

Because of You, I dug deep; my roots sustain me.

As storms pass, I will remain.
