Even though I write less often right now, I am with God even more. I spend an hour or so every dawn at the Beach with Him, jealous of any interruption of chit chat or distraction.

This morning I was listening to the words of Jeremiah. I recently struggled so to get through that book: the weeping prophet. It seemed so sad and as though nothing he was given to share was really reaching people, shaking them up or turning their heads. No hearts bursting open.

But Today, This morning: JEREMIAH 29:11 Knocked-me-down

For I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.

That is what God's Word does to us.
We can honestly, and with intent to understand and learn, read.
And get nothing.
We think.
I know I often close a day's study and ask for guidance feeling so incapable of grasping what the Lord wants me to understand. Locusts and sacrificied lambs, warring and misunderstandings....
and the SUDDENLY. Suddenly, meaning infuses itself into my awareness, my mind, my life, my soul.
Irretrievable.

MY GOD KNOWS..... HE KNOWS HIS PLANS...... FOR ME.
He Plans my Walk, my Future, my Every Moment.
This God of Creation.
This God of Sea Parting.
This God of Feeding from Nothing.
This God of Water to Wine.
This God of Mine.
This Same God.
HE - He Knows His Plans for Me.

How can I ever, really, worry.
How can I ever, really, be discontent.
How can I ever, really, fear.

Slow down and take in the Word of the Lord. To me.
His Word. To Me.
For I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.

Welfare - Not Evil.
Future and Hope.

For HE KNOWS.
Therefore, I believe.
